About the role

The Radiation Therapist Tech, R.T.(T), will provide services at appropriate levels to all patients in all department settings. Responsibilities include performing tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiation Oncology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual, assisting in assigned administrative tasks, and maintaining clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. This role involves general guidance from the department director, medical direction by the Radiation Oncologist, and immediate supervision by the Radiation Oncology Manager.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy services to patients in various department settings.
• Follow the Radiation Oncology Department's Policy and Procedures Manual.
• Assist in assigned administrative tasks.
• Maintain clinical competencies through educational and orientation programs.

Requirements

• Completion of an A.R.R.T. recognized education program accredited by the JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education for Radiologic Technology).
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire or National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of clinical rotations from an accredited radiation therapy program.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift.

Pay

Pay range: $46.29 - $71.85 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
