Responsibilities
- Perform patient treatments
- Machine warmups
- Calculations
- Simulations
- Ensure radiation safety measures
- Operate specialized equipment, such as linear accelerators
- Deliver precise radiation to specific areas of the body
- Closely monitor patients
- Maintain records
- Provide emotional support
Requirements

Qualifications
- Minimum Education Level: Associate's Degree
- Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
- Licensure Certification Needed: Yes
- Minimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred Licensure: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Add Specialty to "Other" (ARRT), Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
- Training Required: CRT Training
