Radiation Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer radiation therapy by accurately preparing, positioning patients, and delivering prescribed doses in collaboration with medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and positioning patients accurately
• Delivering treatment plans and maintaining detailed session records
• Maintaining and adjusting equipment, including linear accelerators
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Submitting high-quality images and documents to PACS
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized department
• Performing other assigned duties

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate’s degree or radiation certification program completion
• Certification as ARRT-T Radiation Therapist and BLS Healthcare Provider
• State-specific licensure (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin)
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving patients and equipment
• Attention to detail, technical skills, and alertness in a clinical setting
