About the role
Join our Radiation Oncology team in Brandon and Clearwater, FL. Make a meaningful impact in veterinary oncology by administering radiation treatments to pets diagnosed with cancer.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and operate specialized radiation therapy equipment, including a Varian Truebeam linear accelerator.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety during treatment sessions.
- Document patients' responses and communicate any changes to the veterinary team.
- Support pets and their families throughout the treatment journey with empathy and understanding.
Requirements
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, particularly in oncology or radiation therapy, is a plus but we welcome enthusiastic newcomers!
- Some travel between our Clearwater and Brandon hospitals required.
