Role Overview
Seeking a Radiation Oncology professional for outpatient coverage at a cancer center.
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation oncology services
- Support a team including physicists, dosimetrists, APPs, and nursing staff
- Operate advanced equipment such as Tomotherapy and Radixact units
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Requirement to cover at least two weeks per month
- No call or weekend duties
Patient Volume
Approximately 18-24 patients daily.
Setting
Outpatient cancer center with a supportive team and modern equipment, transitioning from MOSAIQ to ARIA EMR system.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to provide consistent coverage
- Adapt to EMR transitions
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Additional Details
- Credentialing takes around four weeks
- Ongoing needs with specific date coverage
- Equipment upgrades expected in September
