Radiation Oncology - Locum Tenens

About the role

The position provides outpatient Radiation Oncology coverage at a cancer center, supporting a multidisciplinary team that includes physicists, dosimetrists, advanced practice providers, nursing, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation treatments to approximately 18‑24 patients daily on a Monday‑Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.
• Operate advanced equipment such as Accuracy systems, Tomotherapy, Radixact, and a soon‑to‑be‑installed Varian Linac.
• Utilize EMR systems, currently MOSAIQ with a transition to ARIA.
• Provide at least two weeks of coverage per month, with no call or weekend duties.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Radiation Oncology procedures and equipment.
• Ability to complete credentialing within approximately four weeks.
• Strong team collaboration skills in a fast‑paced outpatient setting.

Schedule

Coverage begins in August, with availability on specific dates and ongoing support, excluding a specified period. The role requires two weeks of coverage per month, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, with no call or weekend duties.
