About the role
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible PRN Radiation Oncologist to join an outstanding team that is part of a multi-specialty Cancer Center.
Responsibilities
- Work in our brand new 27,000 sq ft facility opened in March 2022.
- Utilize advanced technology including 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators with advanced imaging packages and surface tracking systems.
- Offer a range of radiation therapies such as 3D conformal therapy, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SGRT, SBRT, SRS, and HDR treatments.
- Participate in academic appointments through The Baylor College of Medicine.
Requirements
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
- Board certified in Radiation Oncology or actively pursuing board certification.
- Experience with brachytherapy is preferred.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
