Radiation Oncologist

About the role

The Calaway-Young Cancer Center at Valley View Hospital is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join their established, multidisciplinary cancer program serving patients across Colorado's Western Slope. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who values longitudinal patient relationships, multidisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful community impact.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive consultation, treatment planning, and delivery of radiation therapy
• Closerelation with medical oncology, breast surgery, pulmonology, and other surgical specialties
• Participation in multidisciplinary tumor board and shared clinical decision-making
• Longitudinal patient management throughout treatment and follow-up
• Contribute to program growth and regional cancer access expansion across the Western Slope

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
• Commitment to patient-centered, community-based care
• Interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and program development
• Collegial, team-oriented practice style

• Strong clinical skills
• Prior experience in a comparable practice environment
