Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans using the CT scanner, Pet/CT fusion software, Treatment Planning Computer and clinical set-up
• Confer with the Radiation Oncologist to give prescribed doses to tumor volume while sparing surrounding tissues
• Absorb and confirm new start treatment set-ups with radiation therapists under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist
• Follow all prescribed patient and treatment and safety protocols and complete other duties as assigned
• Exhibit exemplary core customer skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited medical dosimetry program
• Minimum (3) three year experience as a Medical Dosimetrist
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist - Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board Required
• Radiography - South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Required
• Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association within 30 Days Required
