Radar Imaging Engineer

Responsibilities

• Development of 3D radar image formation algorithms
• Optimization of algorithms for real-time performance on GPUs
• Development of image performance analysis and diagnostic tools
• Radar data analysis
• Radar system performance analysis
• Attend and present results and progress at bi-weekly meetings
• Be present in the laboratory on a daily basis

Requirements

• College degree required. Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field acceptable, with compensation in accord with experience and degree level
• Experience with imaging algorithm development for MIMO and SAR radar systems
• Experience with development of GPU-optimized processing code
• Strong grasp of radar fundamentals, especially for wideband FMCW systems
• Strong software development skills
• Fluency in Python and C with CUDAS
• Willingness and propensity to learn new skills and take on tasks outside the core job description
• Able to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers
• Motivated and invested in the success of the project

Pay

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $150,000 - $350,000 annually. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role.
