Responsibilities
- Development of 3D radar image formation algorithms
- Optimization of algorithms for real-time performance on GPUs
- Development of image performance analysis and diagnostic tools
- Radar data analysis
- Radar system performance analysis
- Attend and present results and progress at bi-weekly meetings
- Be present in the laboratory on a daily basis
Requirements
- College degree required. Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field acceptable, with compensation in accord with experience and degree level
- Experience with imaging algorithm development for MIMO and SAR radar systems
- Experience with development of GPU-optimized processing code
- Strong grasp of radar fundamentals, especially for wideband FMCW systems
- Strong software development skills
- Fluency in Python and C with CUDAS
- Willingness and propensity to learn new skills and take on tasks outside the core job description
- Able to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers
- Motivated and invested in the success of the project
Pay
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $150,000 - $350,000 annually. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role.
