About the Role
Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking Racquet Sports Instructors to join the recreation team at our state-of-the-art facility in Bentonville, Arkansas. This role is ideal for instructors passionate about racquet sports who enjoy helping players of all ages and skill levels develop their game. Contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to health, wellness, and community engagement in a premier health and wellness destination.
Responsibilities
- Design and teach high-quality individual and group racquet lessons for children and/or adults of varying abilities, providing a fun and engaging environment tailored to students' skill levels.
- Perform minor court and equipment maintenance, including preparation and breakdown of badminton equipment for events.
- Ensure students and players adhere to HealthFitness safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- 1+ years of racquet sports teaching experience with children and/or adults.
- Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety & Health Institute, or National Safety Council.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of member management systems, databases, and tools.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work demands, meet deadlines, and collaborate with all business units.
Schedule
- On-call/substitute position.
- Work on an as-needed basis to provide coverage when regular staff members are unavailable.
- Flexible opportunity to lead lessons, clinics, and racquet sports programming.
Pay
The compensation range for this role is $28 - $30 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant considerations.
