About the role

The On-Site Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to racking, commercial doors, loading docks, and general warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis. Research of potential warranty, rework, and continuous repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform.
  • Perform service, maintenance, repair, and installation on: Racking, Commercial doors; Loading docks; and general warehouse equipment.
  • Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer's repair guidelines.
  • Inspection of equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
  • Communications - Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
  • Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.
  • Safety
    • All work must be completed in a safe manner.
    • Safety requirements by customer and Concentric must be adhered to.
    • Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety.
    • Work areas will be kept clean and organized daily.
    • Timely Completion of Safety training modules.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Should have Mechanical, Commercial, and Industrial Maintenance related experience.
  • Experience with repair and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Welding experience a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work at heights.
  • Able to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
  • Able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
  • Able to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Able to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word and Web Based Reporting Modules.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a sense of urgency.
  • High School or GED Diploma required.
