About the role

The Staff RN at Emanate Health is responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care for a designated group of patients. This role involves ensuring that quality care is provided efficiently and safely, consistent with the unit's standards. The nurse assesses the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs of patients, families, and significant others to develop, implement, and revise the care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs of patients, families, and significant others
• Determine the appropriate care plans based on assessments
• Implement and revise care plans as necessary
• Coordinate care among interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Participate in ongoing education and training related to nursing practice

Requirements

• Minimum Education: RN license in the State of California
• Experience: One year critical care experience preferred
• Licenses: BLS certification required, ACLS required within three months of hire/transfer
• Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale Certification "A" required within three months of hire/transfer for certain units, annual one-hour Stroke Education required for QVH
• Availability: Every other weekend availability required
