About the role

The Staff RN at Emanate Health is responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care for a designated group of patients. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing skills to assess and address the diverse needs of patients, families, and significant others.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patient needs, including physical, emotional, and social aspects.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust the patient care plan based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely according to hospital standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to maintain competency in nursing practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year critical care experience is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Current RN license in the State of California.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification within three months of hire/transfer.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale Certification "A" required within three months of hire/transfer for those working in QVH NEURO Departments and DOU.
  • Eight hours of annual Stroke Education required for those working in QVH Neuro Departments.

  • Successfully completed the Emanate Health R.N. New Grad Program.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $48.97 - $74.88 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Staff RN positions may vary in schedule, but typically involve a combination of day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekends.
