About the role
The Staff RN at Emanate Health is responsible for providing comprehensive care to a group of patients within a designated timeframe. They coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the age-specific needs of the patient population on assigned units. The role involves ensuring that all care is delivered efficiently and safely, adhering to the unit’s standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Determines the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs of patients, families, and significant others.
- Develops, implements, and revises the plan of care using nursing skills.
- Ensures quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.
- Monitors patient progress and communicates changes in condition to healthcare providers.
- Provides emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Completion of the Emanate Health R.N. New Grad Program.
- Experience: One year critical care experience preferred.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are required.
- Licenses: Current RN license in California, BLS certification, ACLS certification within three months of hire/transfer, NIH Stroke Scale Certification "A" within three months of hire/transfer for certain positions, and annual one-hour Stroke Education requirement for certain positions.
- Availability: Available to work every other weekend.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a current RN license in California and meet the minimum education and experience requirements. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within three months of hire/transfer. Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $48.97 - $74.88 per hour.
Schedule
