Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and samples
- Aid scientists with routine experiments, testing, and data collection
- Accurately record and document experimental results and observations
- Follow established protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory instruments and workspaces
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and communicate restocking needs
- Support basic data analysis and report preparation
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety, regulatory, and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Required: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or basic data entry tools
Preferred
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting (academic or industry)
- Familiarity with common lab equipment (pipettes, centrifuges, microscopes, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of data analysis or lab software systems
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
