R&D Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and samples
• Aid scientists with routine experiments, testing, and data collection
• Accurately record and document experimental results and observations
• Follow established protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory instruments and workspaces
• Manage inventory of lab supplies and communicate restocking needs
• Support basic data analysis and report preparation
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety, regulatory, and operational guidelines

Qualifications

• Required: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or basic data entry tools

Preferred

• Prior experience in a laboratory setting (academic or industry)
• Familiarity with common lab equipment (pipettes, centrifuges, microscopes, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of data analysis or lab software systems
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
