R&D Engineering Technician

This on-site role is part of the Filtration R&D New Product Development Team in Westborough, MA, reporting to the Senior R&D Manager. You’ll contribute technical expertise to develop and test advanced filtration products that transform human health.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods to support the production and testing of new products.
• Provide technical support for new product designs and processes, assisting with product scale-up and optimization.
• Test new products in lab environments, including characterizing, integrity testing (with failure mode analysis), and protein testing of various filtration devices.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, order supplies, and instruments as needed for team projects.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Engineering Technician experience in product or process development, or 2+ years in a filtration manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma, GED, or higher.
• Strong teamwork and self-motivation, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to independently resolve general issues with minimal reliance on others.
• Ability to travel approximately 5% (domestic and international overnight).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Testing of filtration devices in lab or manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years of Engineering Technician experience in product or process development, or 5+ years in filtration manufacturing.

Pay

The hourly range for this role is $32.70 to $34.62.
