R&D Chemist

Pay Rate Low: 25 | Pay Rate High: 30 Our client, a leader in contract manufacturing and integrated product development, formulation science, technical operations, packaging expertise, and in-house analytical and stability programs is seeking a R&D Chemist to join their team on a Direct Hire basis. Location: Bartholomew County, IN Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr Duties Support the development and testing of new products from concept through commercializationPrepare laboratory solutions and materials for research and development activitiesPerform routine testing of products under developmentSupport and execute method validation studiesAssist with the development and implementation of cleaning proceduresMaintain and clean R&D and production equipment following R&D activitiesSupport batching and filling line trialsCoordinate the preparation and shipment of test samples to outside laboratoriesCompile, analyze, and document R&D data, results, and observationsMaintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks and recordsFollow GMP/cGMP requirements and established laboratory proceduresSupport plant trials and other hands-on product development initiativesPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field preferredExperience working in a chemical laboratory; manufacturing experience preferredKnowledge of chromatography, formulation, and/or pharmaceutical equipment cleaningGMP/cGMP experience preferred This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
