R&D Analytical Chemist

About the role

Phoenix Tailings is seeking a highly skilled R&D Analytical Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience in developing and validating analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methods for tailings samples
• Perform routine quality control and ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects
• Contribute to the improvement of existing analytical processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry
• Experience with liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, and/or other analytical techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation
• Good communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
