R&D Chemist

Responsibilities

• Develop and test next-generation automotive fluids within the OEM/Automotive Fluids R&D group.
• Provide critical technical expertise to Product Management, Sales, and Quality teams.
• Collaborate with Technical, Quality Control, and Operations departments to foster strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or Bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
• A preference for a Chemistry degree.
• Familiarity with lab procedures and testing.
• Ability to conduct hands-on laboratory experiments and tests in a safe and organized manner.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills, including maintaining a well-organized lab notebook.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in product development and product modifications is preferred.
