Responsibilities

• Research product information from competing brands
• Negotiates with vendors to reach competitive results
• Submits quotes to customers as requested
• Places orders when the jobs are released
• Works with branch manager and salesperson to follow up on every project that is quoted
• Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested
• Serves as the backup to the Inside Sales

Requirements

• Selling experience preferred
• Strong Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program
• Must be able to obtain forklift safety certificate once hired
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis

Qualifications

• Class-C driver’s license required for Kansas
• Class-E driver’s license required for Missouri
• Class-D driver’s license required for Oklahoma
