QUARTZ DISTRIBUTION TEAM LEAD (NIGHTS) (Dickson, Tennessee, United States, 37055)

Primary Objective

To lead warehouse associates involved in any of the following: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing and ensure function operates efficiently.

Major Function and Scope

May perform duties involved with any of the following functions: picking, shipping, receiving, checking, loading/unloading, and/or putaway.

Provides Direction

Trains new employees and provides guidance to warehouse associates for assigned function.

Maintains Equipment and Processes

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

Ensures Safety and Organization

Follows standard operating and safety procedures. Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Other Duties

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience. 1 or more years logistics/distribution experience.

Competencies

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May be required to sit, climb or balance. Must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds regularly. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and a wide range of temperatures. Occasional exposure to noise. About the Role

Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic Distribution Center Team Lead to oversee the warehouse associates with all shipping and receiving needs daily.

Schedule

Hours for this position will be 7pm-7am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
