Job Responsibilities
- Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
- Leads team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift equipment, conveyor equipment, and specific portions of tractor-trailer and over-the-road trucks.
- Inspects quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
- Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match and have the appropriate signatures.
- Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
- Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
- Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.
- Solves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking in the warehouse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree Preferred.
- At least two years of related work experience required.

- Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse software, and systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers.

Schedule
This role requires regular, ongoing in-office presence. Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.
