About the role
The School of Engineering seeks a dynamic quarterly lecturer (QL) for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach graduate level EMGT courses. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a solid commitment to innovative teaching methods, and the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity, equity, and inclusion goals of the University.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or more graduate Engineering Management courses and participate in all related activities, including:
- Prepare and conduct all assigned class meetings
- Assign and evaluate/grade student work appropriately
- Be available to students for consultation outside of class
- Assign student grades appropriately and submit them on time to the Office of Student Records
- Conduct course assessments as required by the department
- Complete and submit time cards every two weeks
- Comply with university and school policies, including those delineated in the School of Engineering Term Faculty Handbook
Qualifications
- Earned graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred)
- In at a minimum, candidates should hold a Master’s degree with equivalent experience
