Quality Technician Molding

About the role

In this position, you assist the Quality Auditors, Batch Record Reviewers, Engineering, and Operations teams with daily duties including inspection, batch records, document and record control, and shipping requirements. You will be the point of QA contact at the West location, organizing QA lab workloads and driving performance across four QA lab shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee component or product inspection, sampling, and analyses following standard methods and procedures, including approval and release.
• Write, review, and revise procedures, work instructions, and related forms for job-specific activities.
• Conduct reviews of batch documentation for GMP compliance and work with production personnel to resolve discrepancies.
• Establish and update files and data summaries for batch documentation.
• Work with databases to collect information and data pertaining to batch documentation.
• Perform QA release of finished product for acceptable materials.
• Assist with the disposition of nonconforming material in the Bond Room and handle nonconformance material per procedures and MRB reviews.
• Train existing QA staff and Quality Techs on the material review process for business continuity and provide ongoing training as needed.
• Update internal and external customers with daily lot release updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Manager.

Additional Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office; knowledge of QMS Master Control, MeasurLink, and other Quality systems is preferred.
• Prioritize and perform responsibilities accurately to meet required deadlines.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, problem identification, analysis, and solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keep the quality lab organized and clean.
• Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Interface effectively with all personnel levels.
• Work independently on multiple assignments in a team environment as a motivated self-starter.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to learn, understand, and remember routine tasks.
• Ability to hear, speak, and understand conversation in English.
• Must work well with others in a variety of situations, multitask, work under time constraints, problem-solve, and prioritize.
• Read and interpret data, information, and documents.
• Work under deadlines with constant interruptions.

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
