About the role

This role will be responsible for processing virtual inspections for the Memphis Manufacturing organization utilizing SAP Quality Module, Advanced Shipment Notice, & Supplier Quality Module. Additional responsibilities include completing inspections of product physically located at the Memphis Manufacturing site. Responsibilities

  • Performs analyses, inspection, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property.
  • Performs a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
  • Performs required inspections, checks, analysis and documentation of studies.
  • Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports.
  • Reviews production records for conformance to procedures.
  • Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or tested product.

Requirements

  • Requires advanced knowledge of systems, techniques, tools and procedures typically obtained through prior related work experience, training, and/or education.
  • Requires 5+ years of relevant technical experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Skills

  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience
  • Experience with Winshuttle, SAP Quality Module, Advanced Shipment Notice, Supplier Quality Module, and sterile release knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
  • Exposure to Lean, continuous improvement, or basic Six Sigma
  • Strong cross-functional communication with manufacturing and engineering
  • Ability to mentor others, work independently, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and documentation practices
  • Inspection experience and familiarity with measurement tools
  • Ability to read drawings, specs, and tolerances

Pay

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $64,400.00 - $96,600.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.

Schedule

This role requires working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite.
