Quality Technician I (Gauges Calibration) - 2nd Shift
About the role
LISI AEROSPACE is seeking a Quality Technician I to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products, services, and operations meet the established customer standards.
Responsibilities
Gage Room (Metrology Dept): Tasks include creating, maintaining, and issuing all gages used by production through the GageTrak System, controlling the gage room's temperature and humidity, setting up Trulok, calibrating various gages, managing test bolt inventory, scheduling and coordinating calibration activities, reviewing certifications, and participating in engineering projects.
Safety/Compliance: Adheres and implements all company HSE policies, procedures, and practices. Ensures compliance with federal, local, and state regulations, and reports any nonconformities.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent education.
Minimum 1-3 years of metallurgical or physical laboratory experience.
Understanding of test equipment and lab procedures.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Good understanding of Geometric tolerance per ANSI Y145.
Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, height gages, ring gages, pin gages, go and no-go pin gages, optical comparators, and microscopes.
