Quality Technician I

Responsibilities

• Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or standards to inspect or test product throughout the manufacturing processes
• Determines if product is fit for conformance or customer requirements based on dimensional, attribute, performance, mechanical or chemical characteristics
• Records test data using statistical process control procedures where applicable
• Documents and validates or identifies details for deviations from existing standards, as required
• Supports calibration of tools and gauges as needed
• Operates various types of measurement equipment such as coordinate measuring machines, profilometer, hardness tester, optical comparators, and various gages (calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.)
• Captures and coordinates activities related to Material Review Board (MRB)
• Supports containment and/or sorting activities as requested for external or internal sorts, as directed by the quality department leadership
• Performs other duties as assigned
