Your Mission
The Quality Technician I performs basic inspection and testing activities to ensure incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet customer and company specifications. This role works under close supervision and supports quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment.
Explore the Depth of the Role
- Measure and visually inspect parts to verify conformance to specifications
- Approve incoming materials, in process production, and finished goods based on documented standards
- Document inspection results in reports and logs
- Initiate non-conformance reports as directed
- Communicate required adjustments to Production Supervisor
- Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and verifying calibration status
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support ISO9001 quality system requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Mission Readiness
- Average of 0–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Associate degree or technical certificate preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Travel Requirements
- Between facilities as needed
Physical Requirements
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly
- May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver
