Quality Technician

About the role

The position involves inspecting products according to specifications and standards, documenting non-conformances, and working with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvements
• Aid in 8D and 5Why investigations of issues
• Read and interpret the requirements of drawings
• Analyze drawing requirements and determine appropriate inspection methods/equipment
• Use inspection equipment to determine product acceptance
• Initiate and complete all quality (inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting
• Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance)
• Able to lift 30 lbs
• Support PPAP sample inspection
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience with SAP MRP system preferred but not required
