Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures
- Absorb equipment calibration, care, and documentation
- Approve labels, processes, and materials prior to press runs
- Approve roll-end retains saved by press operators
- Assemble, update, and maintain color tolerance folders, color consistency files, and clear overlays
- Collect, review, and analyze reject and quality data as assigned
- Support the MCC Quality Management System, including document control and record maintenance
- Perform internal audits as a member of MCC’s Internal Audit Team
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality-related projects
- Attend department meetings as scheduled
- Work overtime as required and perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with three or more years of quality or manufacturing experience; printing industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of quality assurance principles and inspection techniques
- Ability to read rulers, interpret measurements, and successfully complete color hue testing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, with strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain focused and follow procedures throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and complete assignments through to completion
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards; ASQ certification a plus but not required
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent standing and walking, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus
