Quality Technician
What's the Job?
Evaluate parts produced on various lines, including electro-mechanical components, welding, powder coating, and assembly, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Flag suspect or nonconforming parts, support containment activities, and promote a culture of quality throughout the production process.
Guide production teams in properly dispositioning parts as good for use, need repair, or scrap, while documenting and communicating defects.
Comprehend current production quality standards, determine if ongoing production meets those standards, and execute instructions efficiently.
Support incoming and in-process quality activities, communicate quality issues, and suggest process improvements to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
What's Needed?
- Technical knowledge to identify what good quality looks like and escalate deviations from normal processes.
- Ability to decipher data and document defects accurately.
- Experience supporting manufacturing lines in automated environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the capacity to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to collaborate with multiple teams and report findings clearly.
