Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician position is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards. This includes conducting inspections, maintaining records, and collaborating with other departments to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Conducting inspections on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed inspection records.
• Collaborating with production teams to identify and address quality issues promptly.
• Participating in internal audits and providing feedback to improve quality processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Science.
• At least 2 years of experience in a quality control or related role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Experience with quality control software (e.g., Minitab, Statistica).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
