About the role
Night Shift Quality Technician working Sunday–Thursday, 11 pm–7 am.
Pay
$22/hour starting (DOE) plus a $1.25/hour shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and identify critical control points (CCP) within processes.
- Monitor processes and product food safety and quality throughout manufacturing.
- Document and file all relevant record logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
- Ensure employees follow all Food Safety and worker safety practices and educate them on quality expectations.
- Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
- Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy per customer specifications.
- Identify non-conformances and correct them in real time when feasible.
- Work directly with Operations on presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in printing, food, or a regulated industry with knowledge of GMPs (21 CFR 110/111/210/211).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
Skills
- Self-motivated with proven leadership skills.
- Prior experience in a food environment is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
- Ability to adapt to changes, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Capable of making immediate decisions on disposition.
- Dependable; follows instructions and responds to management direction.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
- Bending, reaching, twisting, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work with high-temperature materials and chemicals for cleaning.
