About the role
C-P Flexible Packaging is now hiring a 3rd shift Quality Technician working Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and identify critical control points (CCP) within processes.
- Monitor processes and product food safety and quality throughout manufacturing.
- Document and file all relevant record logs and documentation correctly.
- Ensure recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
- Ensure employees follow all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
- Educate employees on quality expectations.
- Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
- Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy according to customer specifications.
- Identify non-conformances and ensure they are corrected in real time when feasible.
- Work directly with Operations on presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on production lines.
Requirements
- Preferred 1–2 years of experience in printing, food, or a regulated industry with knowledge of cGMPs (21 CFR 110/111/210/211).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.

- Self-motivated with proven leadership skills.
- Prior experience in a food environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Flexible availability to work night and weekend shifts.

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Bending, reaching, twisting, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work with high-temperature materials.
- Ability to work with chemicals for cleaning.
