The company operates multiple farms, packing houses, and research facilities across several states, supplying fresh produce to major retailers and foodservice providers.
Position Overview
The Quality Technician 3 is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards across all processes at the site. This role involves leading quality and safety teams, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in quality or food safety, proficiency in computer systems, and a HACCP or PCQI certification (preferred).
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in quality or food safety in food processing environments
- Proficient in using computer systems and programs for detailed data collection
- HACCP or PCQI certification (preferred)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Education in Agriculture, Food Science, or Chemistry (preferred)
Environment
- Repetitive motion throughout the shift
- Standing or walking for a long duration of time
- Crouching and kneeling
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to 39-degree temperatures in the leafy packaging area
