Responsibilities

• Prepare test specimens to industry and Hydro standards.
• Perform mechanical testing including Tensile, Yield & Elongation, and bend or crush testing to industry or customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with testing procedures.
• Perform torque testing on various parts.
• Execute Safe Launch on assigned part numbers according to process instructions.
• Maintain ethical and compliant behavior.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Quality Manager or Lead/Metrologist.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is desired.
• Good math skills, problem-solving abilities, and computer proficiency.
• Able to understand and adhere to lab and company quality/safety documentation.
• Able to operate test and inspection equipment.
• Able to operate Band Saw and CNC.
