About the role

The Quality Team Associate II is responsible for the quality of all outgoing products from the production assembly lines and warehouse. This role assesses and tests product functions to ensure alignment with quality standards for TV production and warehouse operations (shipping and receiving). The associate matches inspection findings with the quality checklist and works across production and warehouse teams to uphold quality standards. Attention to detail is critical for tracking defects and communicating them to management.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Inspection (70%)
    • Report quality findings for production and warehouse operations.
    • Inspect work-in-process (WIP) and rework materials with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Communicate quality issues to production line leaders, management, quality technicians, and engineers.
    • Support cross-functional teamwork to achieve quality goals.
    • Mentor and coach other quality team members through on-the-job training.
    • Prepare printed materials and set up equipment daily for task completion.
    • Promote continuous improvement by introducing best practices.
    • Align with Element Electronics’ mission, vision, values, and core pillars.
  • Clean and Organize (25%)
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support manufacturing functions.
    • Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
    • Complete special projects independently as assigned by management.
    • Keep the work area clean throughout the shift to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
  • Additional Duties (5%)
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of production operations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with standard days of work Monday through Friday. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required based on job demands.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Close vision abilities required.
  • Regular requirement to talk and hear.
  • Occasional sitting and use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
