Quality Systems Manager (Non-IT)

Role Overview

This position supports global logistics and storage services by ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements at a local level. The role involves overseeing quality activities within transport divisions, providing guidance to staff, and managing documentation and audits to maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Manage supplier qualification, audits, and quality agreements to ensure standards are met.
• Lead internal and external audits, inspections, and respond to findings to address non-compliance issues.
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis, CAPA, and customer complaint resolution.
• Support risk management, change control, and technical compliance activities.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, manage quality data, and implement quality control checks.
• Train staff on quality standards and promote continuous process improvements.
• Monitor regulatory adherence and oversee compliance with industry standards and local laws.
• Manage team resources, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate effective communication within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; certifications such as ASQ CQA, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in quality assurance/management, with two years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, audit management, and quality systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
