About the role

The Quality Systems Analyst reports to the Quality Manager and must conduct themselves in a professional manner. This role applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues, developing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. The position requires the ability to make on-the-spot decisions while working under general supervision. Limited instruction is provided on standard issues, with detailed guidance given for new assignments.

The role may involve collaboration with peers and resources across global locations to review current processes and technology. Proficiency in computer word processors, Excel spreadsheets, and graphics is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits of internal administration against plan, policy, Performance Work Statement (PWS), and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage internal processes and procedures to track and report status to Division Managers and leaders.
• Share results of audits on a regular basis as per established frequency and quality standards.
• Take end-to-end ownership to collaborate with operational partners to ensure identified issues are addressed and improvements sustained.
• Maintain subject matter expertise specific to the job function and general industry awareness.
• Report key trends, perform deep-dive analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to share critical insights for further action.
• Identify root causes and areas for improvement in audited processes.
• Provide ideas for process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
• Use critical thinking and demonstrate high ownership while reviewing processes and technology.
• Conduct activity, technical, and special inspections.
• Prepare audit/inspection reports, evaluate responses, and perform follow-up actions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree with three (3) years of Quality experience or three (3) or more years of on-the-job Quality experience as primary duties.
• A minimum of three years of general experience in management, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work demonstrating judgment and analytical ability.
• Valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or U.S. Passport.
• Ability to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Benning Installation.
• Must complete and pass the Value Based Six Sigma Green Belt Course and an ISO Auditing Course.

Material & Equipment

• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as face masks, steel or composite toe safety shoes/boots, hand, head, and eye protection when required.

Working Environment

The worker is subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. The role involves medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. The worker must have close visual acuity for activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.

Schedule

Regular work schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours per week).
