About the role

The Quality/Environmental Supervisor Representative is responsible for maintaining ISO certifications and works with all departments in the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Administrator of the document control system - MasterControl
  • Ensure personnel have knowledge required to use the system effectively
  • Send all documents needing publishing for approval
  • Administration of ISO 9001/14001: ensure the system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the standard and reports to top management on performance, including recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance during both external and internal audits
  • Ensure corrective actions from audits are completed by responsible personnel in a timely manner
  • Help drive the importance of ISO 9001/14001 out to the plant employees
  • Constantly review the system to ensure it reflects current practice

Requirements

  • University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in a B2B logistics coordinator related role
  • Experience using ERP systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook - Microsoft Axapta (AX) is a plus
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Root cause analysis (CAPA, 8D, FMEA, 5 WHY’S) skills are required
  • Proven experience in cross-functional environments
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred

Skills And Competences

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel required
  • Interest in process understanding, improvement and analysis
  • Strong written and verbal skills; well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments and possess attention to detail
  • Intellectually curious and have the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal and financial documents
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees, customers, and vendors
  • Ability to make effective persuasive presentations

The duties of this job include physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, walking, lifting (up to 40 pounds), grasping, talking, hearing/listening, seeing/observing, loud environment and repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. The majority of the work is performed in an office setting; and employees may remain in a seated position for extended periods of time.
