About the role

  • Facilitate Internal Audits.
  • Monitor daily quality metrics, update the KPI Board, Quality Log, and Top 15, and identify bottlenecks to drive improvements in inspection efficiency and defect detection.
  • Coordinate with production leadership and engineering to resolve quality issues and partner with Quality Engineering to translate systemic process failures into long-term corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary operational voice during cross-functional quality meetings and assist in Continuous Improvement projects and 5S initiatives.
  • Act as a technical resource for the team when complex inspection questions arise.
  • Perform other duties as determined by the Quality Manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment, with a preference for previous supervisory or lead-technician roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and supervise technical staff.
  • Strong understanding of quality inspection procedures and metrology basics (calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
  • Proficiency in managing schedules, resource planning, and calibration systems.
  • Knowledge of document software such as Google Workspace or MS Office products.
  • Ability to manage “firefighting” scenarios on the production floor while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams (Production/Manufacturing) to maintain quality standards under pressure.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical staff.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) OR 8+ years of equivalent, progressive experience in a manufacturing quality leadership role.

Pay

Base Salary Range between $60,000 – $90,000 per year, plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Actual pay determined by experience level, skills, qualifications, and work location.

Benefits

  • Wellness activities.
  • Employee and family activities throughout the year.

Schedule
