If you are a Quality professional

Looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you. Based out of our Natchitoches, LA location, you will provide leadership to the RMA (return material auditor) lab and document control areas, manage supplier quality process and key performance indicators, maintain an effective QMS (Quality Management System ISO 9001-2015 based).

You will collaborate throughout the facility to enhance and improve the plants product and services through the optimization of the QMS. Lastly, you will support assembly quality/manufacturing process and maintain records of quality audits on a daily basis.

As a Quality Supervisor

  • Establish and implement quality procedures, specifications and testing standards for raw materials, in process, and finished products to ensure that products shipped worldwide are in conformance with the required standards.
  • Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise the quality assurance staff.
  • Track and report all aspects of the cost of quality while driving improvement programs to reduce scrap, rework and increase shop floor yield rates.
  • Oversee and maintain all the requirements of the ISO9001-2015 standard. Assure QMS compliance by developing and maintaining an internal audit schedule, document any non-conformances, maintain corrective and preventive actions system (through ETQ), and other necessary actions required by the ISO standard.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all internal and third-party (ISO, UL, Customer) audits.
  • Monitor assembly quality processes and maintain quality audit records.
  • Report on supplier quality, KPI QMS compliance and corrective actions.
  • Support assembly manufacturing operation.

Required Education, Experience And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical or related engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Microsoft Office experience.

Preferred Education, Experience And Skills

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Leverage Lean Basic Training.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • CMM Knowledge.
