About the Role

This position provides consultation and education related to clinical quality and patient safety, accreditation, regulatory and licensing (AR&L), risk management, and infection prevention and control. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the evaluation of evidence-based guidelines, principles, and programs to reduce variation in clinical practice and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Supporting the collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation of clinical data for state, federal, and local agencies.
  • Providing education on compliance methods, regulatory requirements, and regional project goals.
  • Monitoring and reporting occurrences that may lead to medical center liability and recommending mitigation plans.
  • Supporting continuous survey readiness to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other organizations.

  • Prepares quality improvement metric reports at the individual level to demonstrate program effectiveness.
  • Supports quality improvement and risk management by developing corrective action plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting root cause and failure mode analyses.
  • Develops and utilizes quality improvement performance metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Facilitates quality improvement initiatives using data-driven principles, Lean/Six-Sigma concepts, and detailed workplans.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for quality improvement processes and regulations, participating in committees and developing educational materials.
  • Coordinates and conducts utilization and performance reviews; identifies areas for improvement and provides feedback and coaching.
  • Delivers training and educational programs related to process improvement for quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field and minimum two (2) years of experience in quality, performance improvement, customer service, or a related field or minimum five (5) years of experience in healthcare quality assurance/improvement or a directly related field.
  • Registered Professional Nurse License (Georgia).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare clinical license from the practicing/applicable state (e.g., Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Pharmacist (RPh), Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Social Worker).
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

Pay

Pay Range: $84,600 – $109,450 per year. Actual base pay determined at offer will be based on labor market data, internal alignment, and a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

Location

Duluth, Georgia (Duluth Contact Center).
