Day-to-Day
- Perform dimensional inspections of spools, tanks, filter housings, pumps, and other equipment against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct in-house water testing of piping systems and skid assemblies.
- Visually inspect welds and verify dimensions of stainless steel, PVC, and HDPE piping systems.
- Travel to subcontractor fabrication facilities to inspect weld quality and verify frame dimensions against approved drawings.
- Measure and verify coating thickness on fabricated frames upon receipt.
- Perform and document quality inspections throughout the assembly of water treatment skids.
- Conduct final inspections of completed skids prior to testing and shipping.
- Lead weekly safety meetings and conduct monthly safety inspections.
- Complete assigned safety-related tasks and proactively identify and address workplace hazards.
- Assemble components and equipment used in water filtration and treatment systems.
- Prepare completed skids for shipment, including shrink-wrapping and packaging activities.
- Support general shop operations and other duties as required.
Skills
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, due to occasional daily traveling.
- Valid passport is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
