Day-to-Day
- Perform dimensional inspections of spools, tanks, filter housings, pumps, and other equipment against engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct in-house water testing of piping systems and skid assemblies
- Visually inspect welds and verify dimensions of stainless steel, PVC, and HDPE piping systems
- Travel to subcontractor fabrication facilities to inspect weld quality and verify frame dimensions against approved drawings
- Measure and verify coating thickness on fabricated frames upon receipt
- Perform and document quality inspections throughout the assembly of water treatment skids
- Conduct final inspections of completed skids prior to testing and shipping
- Lead weekly safety meetings and conduct monthly safety inspections
- Complete assigned safety-related tasks and proactively identify and address workplace hazards
- Assemble components and equipment used in water filtration and treatment systems
- Prepare completed skids for shipment, including shrink-wrapping and packaging activities
- Support general shop operations and other duties as required
Skills
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, due to occasional daily traveling
- Valid passport is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
