Quality, Safety & Assembly Technician

Day-to-Day

• Perform dimensional inspections of spools, tanks, filter housings, pumps, and other equipment against engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct in-house water testing of piping systems and skid assemblies
• Visually inspect welds and verify dimensions of stainless steel, PVC, and HDPE piping systems
• Travel to subcontractor fabrication facilities to inspect weld quality and verify frame dimensions against approved drawings
• Measure and verify coating thickness on fabricated frames upon receipt
• Perform and document quality inspections throughout the assembly of water treatment skids
• Conduct final inspections of completed skids prior to testing and shipping
• Lead weekly safety meetings and conduct monthly safety inspections
• Complete assigned safety-related tasks and proactively identify and address workplace hazards
• Assemble components and equipment used in water filtration and treatment systems
• Prepare completed skids for shipment, including shrink-wrapping and packaging activities
• Support general shop operations and other duties as required

Skills

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, due to occasional daily traveling
• Valid passport is considered an asset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
