Quality & Process Control Manager

About the role

The Quality & Process Control Manager located in Ravenna, Ohio will be accountable to ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented per requirements and to report areas of concern to Management. This role ensures the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies. The manager will also identify and implement projects to reduce waste and improve processes through WCM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented according to requirements and report areas of concern to Management.
• Maintain full compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies.
• Identify and implement projects to reduce waste and improve processes using WCM methodologies.
• Perform risk analysis and apply LEAN manufacturing concepts.
• Manage continuous improvement programs and direct reports.
• Communicate effectively through written, verbal, and presentation mediums.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a quality organization within a highly regulated industry (preferably aerospace).
• 3+ years of experience managing, growing, and developing direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience managing a continuous improvement program.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001 and/or AS9100 (preferred).
• Demonstrated understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and ETQ software.

ASQ certification is preferred.
