Quality Planning Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an individual to join our Röchling Automotive team in Duncan, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and updating PFMEA, CP, and Operator Instructions; performing process, product, and roving audits; monitoring and maintaining SPC parameters; facilitating customer and plant APQP processes; conducting problem root cause analysis; supporting production with problem solving, decision making, and creation of border samples; assisting with error proofing within production processes; managing non-conforming parts disposition; and supporting training of quality technicians and auditors.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in related positions in the automotive industry.
- Skills: Working knowledge of customers portals, strong corrective action background, knowledge of injection molding/blow molding process, strong understanding of mechanical principles and fundamentals, proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, control plans, 8D problem-solving, fishbone diagrams, Pareto analysis, etc., knowledge of product and process development and optimization, strong customer service orientation, skilled in problem identification, analysis, and resolution, effective coordination and communication skills, ability to collaborate and work effectively within team environments, strong teamwork and cooperative mindset.
