About the Role

Barton Malow is seeking a Construction Quality Manager to join our Mission Critical team on a hyperscale data center project near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role implements and maintains Barton Malow's quality program, ensuring self-perform, subcontractor, and vendor work meets quality standards across the project.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an effective quality control program that meets the requirements of the Barton Malow Quality Manual, applicable codes, drawings, specifications, standards, procedures, and other contract documents.
  • Review and approve subcontractor quality programs, inspection and test procedures, and inspection and testing personnel qualification records.
  • Ensure all required testing and inspections are performed.
  • Establish "Witness" and "Hold" points for inspection as appropriate.
  • Identify and control the disposition of nonconformance items, including stop work orders, corrective action planning, disposition approval, and inspection verification.
  • Initiate corrective action for deviations in corporate document and process compliance.
  • Coordinate qualified testing laboratories and third-party inspection agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Submit a monthly quality report identifying measurable quality results.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain project quality documentation, including testing and inspection logs, test reports, receiving inspections, off-site vendor quality inspections, corrective actions, and other metrics that support quality management key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager on all quality issues.
  • Manage the system used to ensure a smooth startup and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure systems within the data center.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction QA/QC inspection experience on mission critical, hyperscale data center, or industrial projects.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods for assignments within the region.
  • Experience with construction inspection and testing techniques, including critical infrastructure systems such as power, cooling, and controls.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
