Quality Manager, Operations

About the role

As the Manager of Quality, you will support Belimo's Integrated Management System and oversee functions such as Incoming Material Inspection, Warranty Analysis, Shop Floor, and Audit Compliance. You will collaborate closely with global and local teams, including Supplier Quality, Sustainability, Product Management, Production, and Innovation, to ensure and enhance the quality of Belimo products.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the local Quality Organization, including functional and disciplinary leadership of the Quality Department.
• Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and foster team development within the Quality Department.
• Implement global quality, environmental, and occupational safety strategies at the site.
• Define and monitor local Quality Department objectives in coordination with regional and local management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and the effectiveness of the integrated management system, including managing corrective actions and facilitating management reviews.
• Update, assess, and communicate legal and regulatory requirements.
• Organize and ensure preventive and reactive quality management, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee the incoming goods inspection process.
• Facilitate internal communication and training on quality principles to foster quality awareness.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and execute continuous improvement projects.
• Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of prior experience in a Quality role in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and organize cross-functional meetings, committees, and people professionally.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email software.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Pay

The base pay for this position ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on factors including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
